Microsoft's AI Futurist explains how he uses Copilot — and the real-world problems enterprises are solving with agents

At Build 2026, Microsoft outlined its enterprise agent strategy, announcing Microsoft IQ context layers across Copilot and Foundry, including Work IQ APIs, Fabric IQ, Foundry IQ, and Web IQ for agent-facing web search. It also introduced Scout, new MAI in-house models, and agent identity plus governance tools in Foundry’s control plane.
