Dynamic Repartitioning for Time Series Workloads

Netflix's TimeSeries Abstraction uses Apache Cassandra 4.x to handle petabytes of temporal event data with millisecond latency. To reduce wide partitions' impact, they developed a time-slice partitioning strategy, which divides data into discrete time chunks, allowing efficient querying and dropping of data without tombstones. The solution also includes dynamic partitioning per ID, where wide part
