Apple’s new Siri AI is more than just a smarter assistant — it's a new enterprise app layer

At WWDC 2026, Apple repositioned Siri as a systemwide AI layer for discovering and acting on app content via frameworks like App Intents, schemas, entities, Spotlight indexing, and View Annotations, plus new testing tools. Apple also expanded model and evaluation frameworks, added enterprise management controls, and noted limits in rollout and governance.
