UVA assistant professor Yen-Ling Kuo won the IEEE-RAS inaugural Outstanding Women in Robotics and Automation Early Career Contribution Award for Diff-DAgger, a method that helps robots estimate uncertainty in untrained scenarios, reducing human supervision and improving task success.
